A real win-win proposition: If you need a new watch battery – and who doesn’t? – stop by The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest and ALL proceeds from watch battery sales from Nov. 15 through Dec. 13 will go to South County Outreach to help buy holiday turkeys in this unique Battery for Birds event. Last year our friends at the Jewelry Box and their customers donated $2,100 to us to purchase turkeys to help make the holidays brighter for local families in need.
