Be a Grocery Store Food Drive Volunteer!

SCO struggles to provide food to the 1,200 South County families we serve each month. Our pantry shelves are consistently low, and we have seen an increasing number of families who seek our services. To address this need, SCO partners with local grocery stores and community organizations on the third Saturday of every month to conduct Grocery Store Food Drives.

Food Drive Volunteers are Needed!
SCO is looking for volunteer groups of at least 4 individuals to greet shoppers, distribute grocery bags and flyers with a list of SCO's most needed items and accept donations from grocery store shoppers throughout the day. SCO volunteer truck drivers pick up food donations in the middle and at the end of the day. SCO will provide volunteer groups with the supplies needed including signage, bags and flyers.

As a food drive volunteer, you will be serving your community directly, as 100% of the food that is collected goes directly to families in South Orange County. You can make a difference!

All drives are held on the third Saturday of every month from 10am to 3pm.
