With the delay in CalFresh (SNAP) benefits, a critical need is sweeping our community. There’s already been a 25 percent increase in visits to our client-choice food market. The number of clients seeking support is higher than even early pandemic levels.
No one in Orange County should go hungry. Yet without SNAP benefits, many of our neighbors will face real hardship. And these aren’t strangers — they’re parents, grandparents, veterans, and kids. They’re our neighbors.
