September is National Hunger Action Month, and during September when you visit participating Albertsons locations below, you’ll see signs for the Nourishing Neighbors fundraiser; and you’ll have the opportunity to donate at checkout:

We hope you’ll participate because all donations made will be provided to South County Outreach. We’re excited to have been selected as the Nourishing Neighbors charity partner for these Albertsons locations. We plan to use the funds raised to purchase high-quality kitchen staples like milk, eggs, butter that children require for healthy development to distribute for free to our low-income clients at our Market.
Nourishing Neighbors aims to fight hunger by helping keep food banks stocked, supporting meal distribution programs at schools and supporting programs that provide food to seniors. As a program of the Albertsons Companies Foundation, Nourishing Neighbors is working to eradicate childhood hunger in America. Their September giving campaign is focused on raising funds to ensure that every child in our neighborhood has access to a healthy breakfast.
