After much anticipation, South County Outreach’s signature premiere fundraising event, Empty Bowls returns! This year’s event will be held at the new Segerstrom Shelby Event Center on Thursday, April 7th.
Celebrating its 32nd year, the Empty Bowls event is designed to raise awareness of hunger in Orange County and to raise critical funds for South County Outreach programs that feed and house thousands in need. In partnership with popular local chefs and restaurants, the evening is a fun night of soup tasting, wine pairing, and doing good for our community. In addition, guests will receive a handmade ceramic bowl created by local students and community members as a reminder of those who are hungry – and as a reminder that by attending the Empty Bowls event, they have helped fill the empty bowls of their Orange County neighbors.
