All of us at South County Outreach would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our guests, restaurant and beverage partners, sponsors, donors, ceramic partners, volunteers and our board of directors for making the second annual Empty Bowls event a great success.
Raising awareness and funds to help hungry people in Orange County – those whose bowls are empty – is what brought us all together. Our guest speaker, Christopher Mallari, reminded us that circumstances can change at any time and you never know when you will need help. South County Outreach is here to provide that assistance – a lifeline, a safety net – and the resources to allow people to get back on their feet.
But we could not provide these much-needed services to prevent hunger and homelessness by helping people help themselves without the generosity and dedication of our supporters. We are indeed grateful.
