Helping homeless veterans in OC

In case you missed it, here is the kind of story we like to see – people helping the homeless in Orange County. An outreach team from the Orange County Rescue Mission set out to in search of homeless veterans:

“On an overcast winter morning, three military veterans equipped with small black bags ride in a white van looking to help strangers.

The bags are filled with hygiene kits from the Orange County Rescue Mission, consisting of household items such as toothpaste, T-shirts and razors. Packaged in Ziploc bags, the hygiene kits are given to veterans living on the street.”
