What’s it like tShari and Lilyo live off food from a charity?
South County Outreach has invited four local leaders and their families to live off food from our pantry for five days and to share that experience. The goal is to shed light on hunger in Orange County and how one agency is working to make a difference. We’ve invited the Orange County Register to document this project and share the story. Reporter Theresa Walker will check in with our participants and tell us how they fared. Please stay tuned and follow us on social media: ‪#‎endhungerOC‬. Participants are Jan Lansing, VP at CHOC; Robert Ming, attorney and South County Outreach board member; Shari Battle, VP ant Bank of America; and Dennis Kuhl, chairman of Angels Baseball.
